BIC Kids Triangle Colored Pencils are thick, triangular colored pencils designed so small hands (from age 2) can hold them correctly. The shock-resistant leads are hard to break even when dropped or pressed hard, and the non-wood barrel, made mainly from recycled polystyrene, does not splinter if it breaks. A dedicated sharpener for thick pencils is included. This is the Japanese-market pack sold by BIC Japan; the pencils are made in France and meet the European toy safety standard (EN71, CE mark).
