Meiji Takenoko no Sato is a cone-shaped biscuit with a chocolate top, named after the bamboo shoot it resembles. It launched in 1979 as the companion to Kinoko no Yama, and which of the two you prefer is a running argument in Japan. The biscuit here is a buttery cookie rather than a cracker, so it is the softer, richer of the pair.
