Product Overview
Juice Up is Pilot's fine-point gel pen, and the 0.4mm version is about as narrow as a gel pen gets while still writing smoothly. Pilot redesigned the tip so that the ink channel stays open at that width, which is the reason it does not skip the way most ultra-fine gels do.

Who It Suits
Anyone writing small: planner users working in narrow date boxes, students annotating textbooks, illustrators outlining fine detail. Japanese planners and notebooks are ruled far tighter than Western ones, which is why 0.4mm and 0.38mm points are ordinary here and hard to find elsewhere.
How to Use
Fine gel tips are precision parts. Press lightly - hard pressure on a 0.4mm tip will damage it, and pressing harder will not make a skipping pen write. Store tip-down when possible.
Storage
Store tip-down or flat. If a pen skips after long storage, scribble on scrap paper to restart the ink flow.
